With engaging programs, a vibrant social atmosphere, and compassionate support when needed, we’re more than just a residence – we’re a community where you can continue to grow, flourish and truly live your best life.

To enhance resident safety and security we provide 24/7 staffing that is always available to assist you with your non-medical needs, and we maintain a monitoring system in common areas of the facilities.

SENIORS SUPPORTIVE LIVING

Eligibility Requirements

Must be at least 65 years of age or older

Must be able to live independently or with the assistance of community-based services (home care)

Consists of Canadian citizens, individuals lawfully admitted into Canada for permanent residence, refugees sponsored by the Government of Canada, or individuals who have applied for refugee or immigration status and for whom private sponsorship has broken down

Meets the residency requirements, if any, prescribed by the management body

Applicants will be assessed on a Priority Rating System that prioritizes vulnerable seniors, and applicants are prioritized and accepted based on the applicant most in need.

Pleasant Valley Lodge is located in a quiet residential area in Athabasca. The lodge is currently surrounded by lots of green space that is often visited by various animals including deer and many species of birds. The lodge offers a garden area with a gazebo that promotes the enjoyment of fresh air and outdoor activities. The lodge recently built an additional gazebo (supported by resident fundraising activities) that includes areas to walk, visit with friends, as well as includes a firepit area for enjoyment. A theatre room is also on-site where residents are able to go and enjoy featured movies.

The Pleasant Valley Lodge has (52) bachelor style rooms and (4) one- bedroom rooms that include washroom facilities with an easy access shower, as well as a sink, fridge and microwave in the living area. Basic furniture is provided for each unit; however, residents are welcome to bring their own furniture if desired.

A guest suite is also available on-site for visitors or temporary respite accommodations at a reasonable rental fee.

The Lacalta Lodge was opened in 2010. It is located in a quiet area in Lac La Biche and is near various amenities including the Bold Centre that provides cultural services and recreational activities that are accessible and affordable. The lodge is currently surrounded by lots of green space with a beautiful Gazebo that promotes the enjoyment of fresh air, walks, visiting with friends and outdoor activities. A chapel area is also available where residents can congregate for various church services or other activities. The lodge provides several common areas within the facility that can be enjoyed by all residents and visitors.

The Lodge has (56) bachelor style rooms and (4) one- bedroom rooms that include washroom facilities with an easy access shower, as well as a sink, fridge and microwave in the living area. Basic furniture is provided for each unit; however, residents are welcome to bring their own furniture if desired.

A guest suite is also available on-site for visitors or temporary respite accommodations at a reasonable rental fee.

The Lacalta Lodge also has ample parking available for lodge residents and guests.

Wildrose Villa is located in a quiet area in Boyle and is near various amenities including the Seniors Drop-In Centre and library which is within walking distance from the lodge. The lodge is currently surrounded by lots of green space with a beautiful patio area that promotes the enjoyment of fresh air, visiting with friends and outdoor activities. A chapel area is also available where residents can congregate for various church services or other activities.

The Lodge has (32) bachelor style rooms and (4) one- bedroom rooms that include washroom facilities with easy access showers, as well as a sink, fridge and microwave in the living area. Basic furniture is provided for each unit; however, residents are welcome to bring their own furniture if desired. The lodge provides several common areas within the facility that can be enjoyed by all residents and visitors.

As the Wildrose Villa is attached to the Wildrose Villa Assisted Living facility (Continuing Care Type B) this lodge provides a unique option for couples that require different levels of care; however, wish to remain close. View Wildrose Assisted Living.
